Export Formats
Museformer supports several export formats to help you use your analyses in different contexts.
Museformer Project (.museproj)
The native format preserves all project data and can be reimported into Museformer. Use this format for backups or transferring projects between accounts.
JSON
Export as JSON for use with other tools or custom workflows. The JSON format includes all group data with timestamps and properties.
Image (PNG)
Export a snapshot of your timeline as an image. Great for including in presentations, papers, or social media posts.
Embed
Embed your timeline directly into your website or blog using an iframe. Customize the appearance and layout to match your design.
How to Export
- Open your project
- Click File → Export in the menu
- Select your desired format
- Choose a location to save the file
